Several post-secondary educational institutions across Canada offer aviation
diploma courses that include flying training. The pilot instruction is to the
regular Transport Canada standards but is complemented by other college courses.
Entrance to these schools is limited and candidates must meet certain
educational requirements. The cost of training is partially subsidized by the
government and is eligible for student loans.
