There is a little pilot lounge/terminal building that you can enter if you know the ATF frequency(lift the door handle, not down). Self serve snacks and cold drinks are available, as well as washrooms and comfy chairs. There is a computer terminal. A wooden patio overlooks the runway. It's quite nice.

Local Tourism Contacts & Telephone Numbers
Local Activities, Sights & Events of Interest to Visitors Nestled at the foot of the Coast Mountains, where the Fraser Valley becomes the Fraser Canyon, where the Coquihalla empties into the Fraser, lies Hope, the chainsaw capital of the world.

With four major highways and two rail lines, Hope is the gateway between Vancouver and the rest of British Columbia.

Up high on a mountain trail, you know you're in Rainbow Country.
The Fraser Canyon is a beautiful place and fun for all ages. Rafting, kayaking, hiking, fishing, camping, mountain biking, and many other leisure activities are available.

The city of Hope is located approximately two hours from Vancouver, B.C., and is a great place to go for a day trip as there are hundreds of things to do.

Located at the junction of the Coquihalla and Fraser Rivers, and flanked by mountains on three sides, the town occupies a relatively level space which separates the Coast Mountain Range from the Cascade Mountain Range.

The forestry and tourism industries are the major employers in this growing community.

The Hope Airpark is located four kilometres west of Hope, it has a 1,400 metre, well maintained grass strip which is unlit. Jet A and B fuel are available. The Hope Airpark is also home to the Vancouver Soaring Association.
