Comments About Fees: There are no landing fees charged at CYLW for light a/c. When fueling up, it is best to park on apron 3, north end, in the demarcated spaces on the north edge of this apron. Get fueled at this location. An overnight parking fee is levied for parking on aprons 2&3. A parking fee will be charged by Shell Aero Center if you park on their ramp, adjacent to their facility if no fuel is purchased, this fee will be waived with a purchase of full fuel. There is, however, still a $18 'Ramp Fee' which is fixed and is not waived with full fuel purchase. No extra charges are levied for refueling on apron 3, or on apron 2 for itinerant parking. The ITP fee is a new breakdown in the billing and does not affect the fuel price, it is included in the per litre cost of fuel as listed by shell. As of May, 2014, the "ITP" fee charged by Shell is roughly 10% of fuel purchase for light aircraft.
Washrooms located in Kelowna flying club adjacent Apron 3 accessible by keying in RCO broadcast frequency to combination door lock. Thank you to the club!
Shell Aerocentre charges a $20 ramp fee, even if you are just dropping off a passenger. If you are flying in to drop someone off, DON'T pull up to the Aerocentre!

Fuel Price Comments Fill up on apron 2, or [3 outside Kelowna Flying Club] - please use the club facilities - [air side door code RCO brdcst freq]] You can also fill up right outside Shell Aerocentre on their ramp, there are no extra fees for light aircraft when fueled at Shell Aerocentre. Always ask fuel guy for fuel price before you fill. An error was made in April by Shell in the price charged for fuel to a customer. Shell charges no extra fees for fuel - just listed price. This error was reported by this customer as an extra "ITP" charge here. A misunderstanding had ensued, and this "charge" was reported to members here as fact. Shell regrets this error.
Local COPA Flight 36 was able to assist in resolving this, and Shell refunded the customer this overcharged amount. All is now well! Please visit Kelowna at YLW! Thank you Shell for new more competitive fuel pricing.[2.04/L all in as of June 6th]
Beware, the information above is incorrect. As of May 2014, it is fact that Shell DOES charge the additional 'ITP' fee (10% of fuel purchase) in addition to a 'RAMP FEE' ($17.50) for light a/c. No help from the manager regarding the information posted above as it was explained that this is simply part of the price structure now.
