RCAF Station Claresholm was part of the BCATP and home to No. 15 SFTS from June 9, 1941 until March 30 1945. Aircraft flown were the Avro Anson and the Cessna Crane. The Station was reopened in 1951 as #3 FTS training NATO and RCAF students on Harvard and Chipmunk aircraft. RCAF operations ended in 1958.
