| Comments About Fees: | WARNING - This airport's minimum landing fees is $50, including small piston aircraft.
The airport fees are listed here http://www.yyc.com/fts_files/20081126083253Tariff%202009.pdf . To be fair this is a very busy airline airport and the Airport Authority really want light aircraft to use Springbank instead. They do support Springbank and provide good services there (like Customs at their expense) to keep the small aircraft away from CYYC. You can land here if you want to, but it will cost you! The FBOs charge various fees for parking. Please call them to avoid being surprised by high fees. There are numerous fee-free alternatives in the area: Sprinkbank http://www.copanational.org/PlacesToFly/airport_view.php?pr_id=2&ap_id=100 Airdrie http://www.copanational.org/PlacesToFly/airport_view.php?pr_id=2&ap_id=214 Calgary/Okotoks Air Ranch http://www.copanational.org/PlacesToFly/airport_view.php?pr_id=2&ap_id=72 Indus / Winter's Aire Park http://www.copanational.org/PlacesToFly/airport_view.php?pr_id=2&ap_id=203 Chestermere/Kirkby Field http://www.copanational.org/PlacesToFly/airport_view.php?pr_id=2&ap_id=50 NOTE: Some of these listed are PPR - so call ahead! ***************************************************** |
