Airport is the major training hub for the Calgary area, as such it hosts a large number of aircraft movements, especially during day light hours on weekends. Familiarity with the VFR arrival and departure procedure http://sabpa.com/docs/060216BrochureFinal.pdf is highly recommended, as is prior review of the Canada Flight Supplement or Edmonton Terminal chart. NOTE: This airport has Customs Airport of Entry service, but it is not a CANPASS airport.
