Airport is the major training hub for the Calgary area, as such it hosts a large number of aircraft movements, especially during day light hours on weekends. Familiarity with the VFR arrival and departure procedure is highly recommended, as is prior review of the Canada Flight Supplement or Edmonton Terminal chart.
