Caution: During the summer months there is hang glider and paraglider flying approximately 9 nm north-northwest of the airport, from the surface up to 4000 ft ASL. They do not fly in the Ottawa Class C airspace. A winch is used to launch hang gliders up to 2000 ft ASL.
