If you want to park at the Canada Aviation & Space Museum on the north side contact Rockcliffe Flying Club prior to arrival for instructions.

Caution: Seaplane operations on the adjacent Ottawa River. Gatineau Airport is just to the northeast 3 miles.

Caution: sections of the north apron are loose and breaking up and/or covered in loose gravel.

Caution: During the summer months there is hang glider and paraglider flying approximately 9 nm north-northwest of the airport, from the surface up to 4000 ft ASL. They do not fly in the Ottawa Class D airspace. A winch is used to launch hang gliders up to 2000 ft ASL.

Also during summer months, Rockcliffe Pkway is dedicated to cycling on Sunday mornings, so getting out of airfield by taxi could take long.

Camping on the airport by prior arrangement only.
