Landed here and was told they could not help me get a place to stay and it would cost $60.00 to park my aircraft over night.

*We are unable to offer transportation from this airport to a motel as we do not operate a car rental business. There have been instances, however; when a customer has offered to provide a lift to anyone needing transportation into the closest town.

Also, our overnight parking is 10/night and 60.00 per month.

The aerodrome sits on a former Canadian Military Communications Base.
Originally opened in 1941 as the No. 1 Relief Landing Field for No. 1 Service Flying Training School at RCAF Station Camp Borden, under the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. Closed in 1945, the runways were used as a race car track from 1950-59. The property itself was re-aquired by the Canadian Army as a communications station from 1962-94. The airfield sat abandoned until re-opened in 2004.
